Fair Fuel Prices for Mudgee
For far too long, motorists in the Mudgee region have been burdened with fuel prices that are consistently 25 to 30 cents per litre higher than those in other parts of our area—and at times, even more.
What’s particularly troubling is that fuel prices in towns further west of Mudgee are often lower, proving that transport costs are not to blame. There’s simply no valid reason for this unjustifiable price gouging.
Enough is Enough
The people of Mudgee are being unfairly penalised at the bowser, and it’s unacceptable.
Recently, I stood alongside local residents in a pop-up protest to call out this blatant profiteering. The turnout was incredible, and the message was clear: if these inflated prices persist, we’ll be back!
I’ve raised this issue with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and the Government, demanding a thorough investigation. But to bring about real change, we need your support to apply pressure and ensure they take action.
How You Can Help
I’ve launched a petition to shine a light on this issue and hold the ACCC and the Government accountable. Together, we can demand an end to these outrageous prices and ensure that Mudgee motorists are treated fairly.
Let’s send a strong and united message: exorbitant fuel prices in the Mudgee region will no longer be tolerated.
