Volunteer Grants Opportunity!

Grants of $1000-$5000 have become available to support the work of local community organisations that rely on volunteers!

These grants can be used to assist in activities that support the well-being and development of children (under 18), or for communication and insurance items.

Expressions of interest (EOl) are now open. Interested organisations should read the Grant Opportunity Guidelines here and use the EOl form provided here to submit their expression of interest.

Organisations nominated by Andrew Gee MP will be invited by the department to fill out an application form in February 2025. Please note, being invited to submit an application does not guarantee a grant. The government will review all applications and determine the final grant recipients.

There is no formal return date for the EOI, but given the time of year and the fact that the committee needs to consider all applicants and recommend by the 31st of January we are suggesting they are returned ASAP to andrew.gee.mp@aph.gov.au
